I don't think you actually need 2 base cases for the homework... i mean sure, you can easily say if(n==0){return 1;} else if (n==1) {return 1;} but you can just as easily say if(n<=1) {return 1;}. Nice and easy homework, took about 10 seconds to write it. Nice tutorial :)
